Tabatha Clark ::: Senior Session

Wednesday, May 6, 2015 /

Life's not about waiting for the storm to pass... It's about learning to DANCE in the rain! photo 2015-05-05_0020_zpscefnd8ua.jpg photo 2015-05-05_0021_zpsszbat0am.jpg photo 2015-05-05_0023_zps3qvvgjzt.jpg photo 2015-05-05_0022_zpsi79ff5x3.jpg photo 2015-05-05_0026_zpsh8tefdiu.jpg photo 2015-05-05_0025_zpsglr5wcwz.jpg photo 2015-05-05_0027_zpsz5k5oaz0.jpg photo 2015-05-05_0029_zpsyknydfz2.jpg
This is just a small part of a bigger session that I held onto because they are some of my favorite photos I've ever captured. They are loaded with spunk and personality and Tabatha really came alive during this part of her session- I could really see her, her zest for life and love and music, and it was one of those moments where God showed up and made himself extra real, if only for a second. We all need moments like that in our life right? And as a photographer, it's the greatest gift when a person shows you their soul and you capture it on camera!

As I weather through some storms and work to rebuild my business after years of indifference, on-and-off shooting, and a particularly long hiatus this past year as we adjusted into life with 3 kiddos (my husband is the most patient and supportive man I could ask for), this is my little reminder to myself to feel the rain, soak it in, and to always look for God in each and every situation, He's there.
