Lindsey & Kyle ::: Maternity Session

This session was a good reminder to me of why I do what I do. Because I love love, i love people, and i love capturing their stories for them in a beautiful and honest way. Every time I am blessed with the opportunity to go out and shoot a session, it is a celebration of life! Thank you God for this job of mine and thank you God for friends like these two and thank you God for life!

Hannah & Eli ::: College Sweethearts

I think these two were slightly embarrassed for me to post their pictures up- so I figured I might as well get them really red and blog about them too. Can you blame me though? They are precious together. I think this session really honors their relationship right now- it's simple, easy going, and flirty in all the best ways. A little nerdy and totally fun too. When you find the person that you can geek out with shamelessly... you've got something good. real good.

Tinkerbell is turning 5!

Here is another 30 minute birthday session for you to enjoy! Michelle's daughter Maddie had her 5th birthday party coming up and it was tinkerbell themed so we used her birthday outfit and picked the perfect setting to bring it to life- the flower garden at Dehart Park. Maddie danced and spun around and snuck in a few kisses for her mama as well. She sniffed flowers and splashed in the water and just played throughout the session. When you chose something your child is passionate about, it not only makes a great and sweet memory for you-- but it makes for a good time for your child too!

All Aboard!

Figured it was about time I jumped on the blog train... and what a perfectly fitting session to be my first blog! I've shot the Vaughn family on several occasions and I can always count on Kayla to bring the most precious outfits and to pick a cute and fitting theme that celebrates each child's interests in life. I think a lot of times its easy to fall into the trap of wanting to do too many themes for one event, so my advice to parents is to pick one strong theme and run with it and save those other great idea for consecutive birthdays or shoots.
